Presently function as a Relationship Manager at Millennium
Branch-Credit Department handling a portfolio consisting of large corporate
clients which spread across sectors such as Hotels, Trading entities, financial
institutions etc. Total advances portfolio is in excess of USD 50.0 Million.
(40% of total departmental portfolio)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Visiting of Clients for marketing of new business and
evaluation purposes.
Shared responsibility for the budgeted growth in
advances, deposits, contribution & reduction of Non Performing Assets.
Risk Management.
Actively monitoring the risk profile and the quality
of the advances portfolio handled.
Follow up for quarterly financials and projection to ensure
that the bank's exposure is secure especially in the currently volatile
economic conditions prevailing in the country.
Monitoring of account activity to ensure that the
facilities extended are utilized for the purposes they were intended for.
Customer
Relationship Management.
Building relationships with existing clients and
creating new relationships with prospective clients.
Constant dialog with clients and their operational staff
to improve the utilization levels of the facilities granted whilst also
reviewing the service standards of the bank.
In my personal experience I have witnessed that such
close relationships with the decision makers have always resulted in being
given the first right of refusal when it came to new opportunities.
Evaluation of
Credit Proposals.
Analyzing of Financial data of clients evaluating
historical information and using projections to support and justify proposed
lines, undertaking market risk analysis, competitor analysis, SWOT analysis,
and using all this information for the preparation and submission of proposals
for Credit approval.
Monitoring of Accounts.
To expand our fee based FX & trade income. Look in to the possibility to increasing limit utilization of clients.
