Developing a Credit Module

Developed a comprehensive advanced credit module for Seylan Bank staff which gives an overall functional knowledge of credit related topics with case studies. This manual comprises of well over 100 pages. This assignment was given to me by a committee comprising of all regional heads chaired by the Deputy Chairman of Seylan Bank.

Best Branch in Category 2

Having been entrusted the task of enhancing the performance of a large urban branch; was responsible for the following.

29% growth in Deposits, 91% lending asset growth with a resultant bottom line growth of 78% within two calendar years.

This Branch became the best branch out of all Category 2 branches, and was adjudged the 2^nd best in the all island category in the year 2005.

These ratings were based on the Balanced Score Card System. At the time of taking over the unit in Sept 2003 it reflected an overall score of 63 on the Balanced Score Card and was responsible (with the Team) to improve this score to 94, by 31.12.2005
